Obituary for JOYCE WISEMAN

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joyce Wiseman in the early evening of Friday March 24 th , 2023 at the age of 92. Joyce was the inseparable wife, partner, and friend of John Wiseman, who feels this loss to his core. Joyce passed peacefully after many weeks of failing health. John was lovingly and faithfully present with her as he has been all through the 59 years of their marriage. Together we hold John in our love and prayers. John and Joyce have been long-time faithful and active members of Mimico Baptist Church. They were greeters and helped with many projects around the church and parsonage. The list of their gifts to the church is considerable. She was generous, kind, and faithful. We’ll miss her warm smile. She is now at peace and at home with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Eva Fiddament, and brother, Paul Fiddament (Jeannie). Joyce was born in Stratford , Ontario and later moved to Etobicoke where she worked in accounting at Campbell’s Soup Co. She spent her last week in the great care of the Dorothy Ley Hospice. Joyce was blessed by the exceptional care of Care Partners, Home Care Assistance and dear friends. Gifts in her memory can be given to the church she loved, her church where she was a cherished member.
