Obituary for ANNA MARIA DONATA FALCONE

Born February 29, 1932 in Roseto Valfortore, Foggia, Italy. Anna Maria Donata (nee Sbrocchi) was a strong, loving and fiercely independent woman. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our cherished and beautiful mother, Nonna and Bisnonna. Anna Maria Donata peacefully passed away on Saturday February 25 2023, surrounded by family at the age of 90.

She survived her husband by 25 years (the late Filippo Falcone). Loving and devoted mother to Carmela (Joe Del Bianco), Tony (Rosemarie), Roseanna (Bill Brar). Forever remembered Nonna to Dianna, Alicia (Mike Marrocco), Stephanie (Nick Farace), Ashley (Mark El Hajj), Phillip, Jessica (Anthony Benevenga), Daniel, Victoria and Jacob. Bisnonna to Giuliana and Francesca Benevenga.

Her story begins in Italy where her parents instilled the values and traditions which she would carry for a lifetime. Her childhood memories with her parents and siblings were filled with hardships which they persevered through. However, despite these challenges she also remembered all of the wonderful times she had with her family. Her adulthood began by meeting the love of her life Filippo. As a couple their new journey brought them to England where they had their first two children, Carmela and Tony. In search of a better life for their family, they moved to Canada where they had their third child Roseanna. The values and traditions that she inherited during her childhood, are the same ones she ingrained into each of her children. She was a great cook for her family and got to display her passion for baking at family gatherings and events. She was a hard-working, selfless and determined lady that did not give up. Even after the passing of her husband, she remained a strong pillar of her family for 25 years.

Mom, you left us with a heartache that no one can heal; your love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
