At the age of 75 Vito Guarino, born January 12, 1947, passed away comfortably on January 4, 2023. 

Vito was born to parents Antonio Guarino and Elisa Guarino (nee Valvano) in Italy and came to Canada at the age of 11, settling in South Etobicoke. Among other jobs, he worked as an auto mechanic and was passionate about cars. Vito loved fixing things, and valued his family. He was quick with a joke and was always generous, dedicating his life to helping others. 

Vito joins his sisters Mary Temprile (Mike),  Angela Szczepanski (Ray) , and Cathy Morgan (John) in Heaven. He is survived by his brother Gerry, his children Sarah (Sachin), Anthony, and Rayhan, and two grandchildren, Sydney and Sonya.  He is fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Toronto, ON
