Janet Grott Barnes passed away peacefully, at Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care facility in the early morning of December 15, 2022.  Janet reached 104 years of age and was born in Greenock Scotland August 2,1918. She was a dedicated member of the Presbyterian Church and was a loving wife and mother to three children.  

She was preceded  by her husband (Ernest) of 70 plus years of marriage and will be sadly missed by her sons Ernest (Betty), William (Marilyn) and daughter Christine.  

She was a devoted Grandmother to grandsons Graham, David (Dai), Colin, and granddaughter Erin. She leaves three loving great grandchildren, Sierra, Dawson, and Kaleigh. 

Her Family would like to acknowledge the warmth and loving care that she received from the entire staff at Cawthra Gardens. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Tues Dec 20th in the Hogle chapel.
