Obituary for MARIA CREATURA
With such deep sorrow and much love we announce the passing of our most cherished mother and grandmother, Maria Creatura on May 28, 2022 at age 86.
Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Rose, son-in-law Frank, daughter-in-law Helen, her beautiful grandchildren Joseph Marcanthony, Chloe Maria and Faye Fotini, her caring brothers Giovanni (Maria Grazia), Rocco (Giovanna), and sister-in-law Maria (Mario) as well as her many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Maria is predeceased by her beloved husband Fedele, and her loving sister Antonietta (Michele). Maria, tragically, also suffered the deep losses of her treasured sons, Mike, Joe, and Danny. They will never be forgotten.
Maria’s closeness to her family and friends was one of the most important things in her life, second only to her dedication and service to Holy Angels Church and her community. Despite all of Maria’s personal tragedies, her deep love and devotion to her family, friends, and to God remained her focus and she persevered and showed that loving spirit and sincere goodness to everyone she touched.
Maria was a blessing and an inspiration to her family and all who knew her, and words cannot describe how much she will be missed by her family. It was a privilege and honour to have had such a strong and beautiful woman as our mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2 and Friday June 3 from 2-4 .and 6-8 p.m. at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 62 Jutland Road, Etobicoke. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Highway 27, Woodbridge.
