Obituary for ROBERT TAYLOR

Robert Claude Taylor (1948-2022)

A born and bred Torontonian and long-time Inglis employee, Bob Taylor was a product of his Parkdale upbringing. He appreciated the finer things in life like Velveeta, puns, the Jays, the Leafs, and the ponies.

Bob loved to game. Yahtzee, Cammy, cribbage, euchre, canasta, poker – pretty much anything you could play at a kitchen table or at a cabin away fishing.

His pride and joy were his 2 kids Tammi (Dave) and Sean (Anne-Marie), 3 grandkids Zachary, Paige and Ainsley and wife of 48 years Rose.

A lover of music, Bob was a quietly interesting & creative man who wrote screenplays, invented things and involved his kids in sports.

Bob will be dearly missed by his friends, family and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers – donations can be made to the Jays Care Foundation, using baseball to level the playing field for kids facing barriers, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation - better yet purchase yourself a Heart & Stroke Lottery ticket and see if Bob can pull some magic.
