We are sad to announce Gregory Charles Moffatt passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Trillium Health Centre Mississauga at the age of 58 after a year and a half battle with cancer. Loving husband of Patrica Lynn Moffatt and beloved father of Joshua Charles Moffatt (Jezelle Alexis) and Adam Daniel Moffatt (Tina Gougoushvili). Dear son of the late Charles Moffatt and Carole Moffatt. Greg will be remembered by his sisters Nancy McWatters (Gary McWatters), Patti Franklin (Mike Franklin) and Lauri Moffatt-Zawacki. My deepest condolences to all the Moffatts. I loved working with Greg at Glaxo. We worked together on safety issues for many years. Greg was so practical, smart, great personality and great fun. Even after I retired from Glaxo I occasionally connected with Greg and every interaction was wonderful.

Dear Greg,
Your presence is already missed. At work last week someone said we should have a recording of your voice: we miss you booming into the lab.
You made the best of everything. It is so sad that your life was cut short at a relatively young age...You should've lived another 40 years -- had more time to try new things, visit new places, re-do some things, and re-visit some places. Perhaps you learned all you needed to and lesson time was up. Who knows?
Vibes of strength, comfort, and compassion are being sent to Patti, Josh, Adam, the rest of your family and your dear friends, who will notice your absence in the day-to-day and the days of celebration in the years to come. You loved your family and friends, that's for sure. I believe you will be watching over them and I know you will be in their hearts forever.
You touched the lives of many people. You took time away from your family to help mine out -- that was over 20 years ago. I will remember the talks we had over the years and your way of bringing clarity. Your caring and sense of service knew no bounds...When you were battling cancer you offered to help me in my situation by bringing groceries. What a generosity of spirit you had!
You gave me (and many others!) advice at work and you shared with me and let me share with you over more personal matters. I miss that...and the laughs and goofiness, of course. I miss your adding an extra syllable to my name when you needed something ("Mich...e...le...") and my answering back with "Grrr...eggg".
Thank you for being you. Thank you for your kindness, objectivity, and optimism. I, and I'm certain many others, are so glad that your life touched paths with ours. You are -- and will -- be missed.
My deepest sympathy goes out to your dear family and your friends who are like family.
Rest in peace...Rest in peace, Grrr...eggg.

Dear Patti, Josh and Adam,

I wanted to share how deeply saddened I was to hear of Greg's/your dad's passing. You have been such wonderful and thoughtful neighbours to my mom for many years, and I recall so many examples of how incredibly generous and helpful Greg was - particularly during my mom's most difficult days. Although my interactions with you have been limited over the years, it was always very clear how loved Greg was and how much he loved all of you. Having experienced the loss of my own father, I know how incredibly difficult this is and I am thinking of you all. Sending big, big hugs....

Patti and Family,

Although we didn't get to spend a lot of time with Greg, his kindness, humour and memories will live on with us forever. Thank you for coming to support us in our triumphant 5km run in Lewiston, NY. Once COVID is over, we can celebrate Greg's life at La Galera.
Sorry for your lose and we are thinking about you during this time.

Dave and Brian
