It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Janet a much-loved daughter, mother, and wife on June 18, 2020 at the age of 58. Janet was a devoted mother to her son Donald Rance; beloved wife of the late Stanley Jackson; and the oldest daughter of Shirley Rance and the late William Rance. She leaves to mourn her siblings Jacqueline Koumaris (Matt Pallotta), Jennifer Dutcher (Norman), extended family members from the Jackson clan, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Janet took great delight in being an active member with her church communities of St. Leo’s, Blessed Sacrament and St. Wilfred’s. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no funeral home visitation. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 277 Royal York Road, Toronto. It is highly recommended that masks be worn. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to House of Compassion, 169 Shaw St., Toronto, ON M6J 2W6.
