Obituary for Terry Cherrington
Terry (Terrence) Albert Cherrington (February 19, 1954 – April 10, 2020)
Sadly passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Dorothy Ley Hospice after Valiantly battling aggressive stage four melanoma. Terry is survived by and will be forever missed by his Loving wife Patti (Patricia Sardinha), his parents Albert and Dee, his sister Sherril Popovic (Roy) and their children Scott (Alana) and Michelle, and his cousin who felt like a brother to him, Randy Webb. He will be loving remembered by his sisters-in-law, Donna Kelly and Jeannette Thomas (Norm-deceased) and his brothers-in law, Yvon Demers (Betty) and Gerry Demers (Cathy), his step-children, Shannon Cook (Kevin), Dustin Sardinha (Rochelle), Lindsay Sardinha (Anthony) and Ryan Sardinha, and his step-grandchildren, Jaiden, Marlo, Cameron, Aria, Phillip and Hailey. He will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces and nephews, his great- nieces and nephews and all of his friends. Terry will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.
Terry was born in Hamilton, Ontario and experienced a life full of many interesting and challenging careers. He met many people from all walks of life over his lifetime, and he shared a bond with each of them. Terry had a Passion for sharing his stories of his life experiences with everyone. He also had a Passion for restoring and building projects, and took great Pride when he shared his finished works with the love of his life, Patti.
He always said, “I say what I mean and I mean what I say”.
A Memorial Service will be held at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home Mimico Chapel at a later date when it is safe for everyone to attend. We thank you for your compassion, support and understanding during this most difficult and unprecedented time.
