It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Susan Ratelle on Tuesday March 5th 2019. Daughter of the late Yves and Joan Ratelle. Susan grew up in Mimico and later settled to raise her three children in Barrie. Susan lived an adventurous and fulfilling life. She was an avid participator in the Barrie Gun Club and received several distinctions in the field. Susan took pride in her teaching and coached several people in gun handling, scuba diving and skiing. She was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan and travelled several states to cheer them on. She had her own unique style and stood out from the crowd with her big hair, turtle necks and contagious laugh. Susan was extremely caring and always willing to lend a helping hand without a second thought. She leaves behind her children Destiny Dixon, Kayleigh Kulla and Caulton Kulla; her Granddaughter Vivienne Shaw and her two cats Simba and Ozzy. A drop in memorial service will be held on Thursday March 14th 2019 at GH Hogle Funeral Home; 63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
