Obituary for Elva Marie Browne
Browne, Elva Marie (nee Porter)
March 10, 1951 – February 2, 2019
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Cambridge Country Manor.
Elva was born in St. John’s Newfoundland then later moved her family to Mimico.
She will be known for her tenacity. She may have been small in stature but big in heart. Elva will be missed but her influence will continue to be felt in the hearts and in the actions of those who loved her.
Elva was a loving mother to Shawn (Kim) and Sharon (Roy). A proud grandmother to Shawn, Matthew, Shannon and Mitchell. A cherished sister to Lorraine, Janice, Louise, Jean, Raymond and David. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends, especially her dear friend Barb Scott.
The family would like to thank the nurses, PSWs and all the staff at Cambridge Country Manor who provided excellent and loving care to Elva. Visitation to be held at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, Friday February 8th, 2019.from 6 p.m. until Celebration of Life service at 8:30 p.m.
