Obituary for Warren Mitchell Batting

It is with sudden, unexpected sadness we announce that Warren Batting passed away from a heart attack at his Toronto apartment on 18 December 2018.

Warren, loving grandson of the late William and Evangeline Bleue (nee Chepil). Son of late Lynda (nee Bleue) and Loren Batting and nephew of the late Audrey and Jeff Goode, cousins Steven and David.
Transcended by Aunt Vivian Bleue, cousin’s Dana (Tom), Jackie (Nick), Michelle (Nolan) and families.
Especially endeared by Uncle Henry and Donna Meyer (nee Bleue), cousin’s Michael, (Daniela) Meyer and Monika and (David) Hannon and families.
Warren will be greatly missed by second cousins and many beloved relatives out west. Venerated and appreciated by friends and co-workers of the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Partnership, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 66 North York, and Regiment.

There will be a celebration of his life on Thursday, January 17th at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. with visitation prior from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m.
In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Toronto Humane Society.

Individually, as well as a family, we will all remember Warren in our own way and cherish special moments in time spent with him.
Warren would want you to remember these times, and lovingly enjoy each other’s company this Christmas and New coming year.
I am so very sorry to have to bring this sad news, to you at this time of year. Please remember that it was one of his favorite holidays.
