Condolence: My name is Karen Bender. I have known Peter for about 25 years through the Hillcrest Christian Church Choir. He was an active member and once organized a bus trip to Fergus years ago to see the organist Robert Latimer perform in a play. Peter was a true friend to myself and my mother, often travelling from Rexdale to help us. We shared wonderful times both at my home and at his residences , listening to his music on tapes and C.D ‘s. He was so kind thoughtful and generous . My friend Carol Houston also sends her sympathies to the family. We appreciated the opportunity to perform for Peter and the other residents at Wellesley Central Place. Condolence: I was sorry to read of Peter's death. Although I hadn't seen him for over 50 years, I still remember his wonderful music. Those of us who organized some coffee house evenings at Lakeshore Y were thrilled with performances by "Peter & Sunny". I knew him originally from MHS, but it is his playing & singing I remember so well.
