Obituary for Nancy Ellen Nesbitt

Nancy Ellen Nesbitt
Our family’s greatest cheerleader has peacefully passed away, surrounded by her devoted sons, Teddy (Cynthia), David and Chris. An amazing woman who took such unfettered joy in all our successes, who taught us to laugh with abandon and wanted nothing more than to kiss our faces off. She will be deeply missed by her sister Susanne; her partner in crime; a relationship built solidly on family, love and a host of legendary shenanigans.
She was an extraordinary grandmother; full of love, humor and guidance; a Nana who took ridiculous pride in the exceptional talents of her Nicolas, the vibrant tenacity of Meghan, the strength of spirit in Kayla, the wisdom and kindness of Daniel and the delicate grace of her sweet Isabelle.
Her nieces and nephews will miss a phenomenal woman who provided a mother’s love and a soft place to land; their gratitude is immeasurable She will be missed by her brother- in- law Brian, friends, cousins and family members who cared so much and wanted nothing more than to be in her presence. Our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses who treated our mother with genuine kindness, respect and dignity, we are so grateful.
Visitation will be held at The G.H. Hogle Funeral Home (63 Mimico Ave.) on Saturday, March 5, 2016 ar 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy, to a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

“Happy is the son whose faith in his mother remains unchallenged”
