It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their precious mother Doris Upwood at Baycrest Hospital on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Much loved mother of Rita (the late Bill) and Ian (Lorna). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Jenny) and Michael (Debbie). Adored great grandmother of Izzy, Ashley, Reese, Ryann, Rebecca and Richard. Doris will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Dorothy Hardy of Calgary.

Visitation will be held at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Homes Ltd. Mimico Chapel, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke, on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Chapel Service will be held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Baycrest Foundation Palliative Care Fund. Cremation to follow.
