Obituary for Pat Chisholm

Chisholm, John Patrick (Pat), of Toronto, passed away at his home, surrounded by family, on January 4, 2018. Born in Heartherton, Antigonish Co., Nova Scotia on March 17th, 1936. He was the son of the late Jack Dan and Mary Ann Chisholm. He was a member of the Mimico Lacrosse Association during the mid-70's and retired from Labatt's Brewery. He later delivered Meals on Wheels for a number of years. He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, in Mimico, for over 50 years. After his family, he loved his Montreal Canadiens, a good story and a rousing game of cards.

He is survived by his loving wife Joan of over 57 years, his 2 children Debbie (Roy) Holdsworth, Keswick and Paul Chisholm, Toronto; Grandchildren, Emily, Janine and Reilly; two sister-in-laws Agnes Chisholm and Mae Chisholm of Heatherton and many nieces and nephews. As the last of the Jack Dans' he was predeceased by his brothers Eugene, Donald, Colin, Lauchie and Ernie and his sisters, Betty Chisholm, Bernadine MacDonald, Mary B Gilbert, Sarah MacFarlane, Teresa MacDonald, Mamie Rogers and Jovita Chisholm.

Friends will be received at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke on Sunday January 7th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday January 8th at 10 a.m. in St. Leo's Church,277 Royal York Rd., Etobicoke. Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery - Port Credit
