Peggy was predeceased by her sisters, Anne (Nan) Platt Scott and Elizabeth (Betty) Wakefield, her brothers-in-law Victor Scott and David Beattie, and by her beloved friend Margo Chadwick.

A memorial of Peggy's life will be held at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke, on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Pine Hills Cemetery.

"Awakened to new life
Nature stands before me,
...The woods’ barren silence
Is enlivened by the bird’s psalm."
