Obituary for Kevin King

Kevin Neil King
July 11, 1958 – May 9, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Neil King who bravely fought a four year long battle with cancer. Peacefully surrounded by his family at Home, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in his 58th year was laid to rest.

He is predeceased by his mother, Bernice King, who passed in August 2012. Left to mourn are his wife, Laura Sturman, loving daughters: Jennifer Bradbury (Jay Evans) and Misty Sturman (Darryl Twain), and son, Micheal Sturman (Jessica Bradshaw), Father: Harold King, Brother: Wayne King (Lorraine Bishop), Sisters: Eileen King and Sharon King-Woods (Daniel Woods), Grandchildren: Ciera Bradbury, Owen Sturman, Brayden Bradbury-Grigg, Hannah McDonald, Rylan McDonald and Sage Twain, Brothers-in-law, Lloyd Hepburn, Trevor Hepburn and Richard Hepburn, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends living in Ontario and in Newfoundland and Labrador will also miss him dearly.
Kevin will be fondly remembered by all for his fun loving unique personality. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to everyone for their continued support through this difficult journey.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in Kevin’s honour on Sunday, May 14th from 1:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. at Club Kaos, 107 Kennedy Road South (back of the plaza), Brampton, ON. L6W 3G3, Tel. 905-452-0355. Food and Drinks will be available for purchase.

Snacks and Drinks will also be served to family and friends on Sunday May 14th at Kevin and Laura’s home from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. All are welcome.
